Carlsbad Wedding Photographer

Carlsbad is where North County does celebration with ease — ocean on one side, lagoon and flower fields on the other, and a row of resorts built for hosting people well. It's one of our favorite places in the world to photograph a wedding, and it's fifteen minutes from home.

We shoot in a way we'd call editorial meets journalistic: composed enough to feel like a magazine, honest enough to feel like the actual day. We're a little obsessed with light and color, and even more obsessed with the people in front of the lens — the couple, yes, but also the planner running the timeline and the florist who was up since four. Our whole approach is "look at them," not "look at me."
